Premium Terms

These terms cover Elarix Premium, the optional paid upgrade. They add to Elarix's Terms of Service, which still apply. By buying Premium you agree to both.

The short version

• Premium is $2.99/month per server, as a subscription in Discord or by card, or $29.99/year (2 months free) by card.
• Cancel anytime where you subscribed (Discord, or the dashboard for card subscriptions). Premium stays on until the time you paid for runs out.
• Card payments are not refundable, except where the law requires it. Purchases made inside Discord follow Discord's Paid Services Terms.
• Every Elarix feature stays free. Premium only adds higher limits and extras.

What you get

Premium unlocks higher limits, custom branding, music extras and a supporter badge for one Discord server. The current perks are listed on the Elarix website and with /premium in Discord. Perks may change over time. If we remove a major perk, we'll post about it in the support server.

Two ways to buy

In Discord

• Press Upgrade on /premium status. Discord handles the checkout and billing, and Discord's Terms and Paid Services Terms also apply. Elarix never sees your card or bank details.
• The subscription belongs to you and powers one server at a time. If you bought it from /premium status in a server you manage, it starts there. Otherwise, pick the server with /premium activate (you need Manage Server there) or from the dashboard. Running it in another server moves it.

By card

• A server manager presses Pay by card on /premium status, or uses the Premium page of the dashboard, and picks monthly or yearly. Payments are processed by Stripe. Elarix never sees your card or bank details; Stripe's own terms and privacy policy also apply to the payment.
• A card subscription is for the server it was bought for, and switches on there as soon as Stripe confirms the payment. To move it to another server, ask in the support server.
• Only the person who paid can change or cancel it, with Manage subscription on the dashboard's Premium page.

Gift codes

• We sometimes give out Premium codes (for example as prizes). A server admin activates one with /premium redeem or from the dashboard. Each code works once, for one server. Keep it private: whoever redeems it first gets it.

Renewals and cancelling

• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel: monthly ones each month, yearly card subscriptions each year.
• Cancel anytime: Discord subscriptions in Discord's User Settings → Subscriptions, card subscriptions with Manage subscription on the dashboard's Premium page. You won't be charged again, and Premium stays on until the paid time runs out.
• If a card renewal fails, Stripe retries it for a few days and Premium stays on meanwhile. If it still can't be paid, the subscription ends.
• When Premium ends, your server keeps working on the free plan. Settings and data aren't deleted, and things you already set up keep working, but you can't add more of anything that's over the free limit. Premium-only extras (like branding and music effects) switch off, and they come back if you renew.

Refunds

Card: all payments are final and non-refundable, including for partly used months or years, and time left when Elarix is removed from a server.

Discord: refunds for purchases made inside Discord are handled by Discord under its Paid Services Terms. If Discord refunds a purchase, Premium from it ends.

None of this limits any refund rights you have under the law that can't be waived.

Chargebacks and misuse

If a payment is disputed, reversed or charged back, or if a server breaks the Terms of Service, we may remove Premium without a refund. Reselling, sharing or trading codes or subscriptions isn't allowed.

Price changes

We may change Premium's price. Time you've already paid for isn't affected. For monthly subscribers, a new price only applies after we announce it in the support server (and, for Discord subscriptions, after Discord's own notice), and you can cancel before then.

If Premium or Elarix shuts down

Elarix is run by an independent developer and is provided "as is". If we stop offering Premium or shut Elarix down, we'll stop taking new payments and end subscriptions so nobody is charged again, and we'll try to give at least 30 days' notice in the support server.

Uptime

We work to keep Elarix online, but outages happen and aren't grounds for a refund. Features that rely on outside services (like music from YouTube or AI from Google) can stop working at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Purchases made inside Discord are also covered by Discord's terms.
